Capital Assets Configuration — Asset Sites tab

Assets are associated with locations in Asset Management. When you enter an asset, you can choose a site, a building, and a room — or you can just specify a site.

• Sites and buildings are automatically enabled when they are added.

• Sites and buildings become active when they or their associated rooms are linked to an asset entry in Asset Management.

• Once active, sites and buildings can no longer be deleted. You can disable sites and buildings, but they'll remain in AptaFund for record keeping purposes.

• Buildings and rooms can be added to a site at anytime, even after the site is active.

• You can edit, disable, and enable sites and buildings in either the active or inactive state, but they can only be deleted in the inactive state.

Set up asset sites

1. Add asset sites.

2. Optional. Add buildings to sites.
