The Increment Employee Experience function adds one year to all three experience fields — District, State & Career Years of Experience — for all employees. The experience fields are located on the employee record in the Employment section.
The process is not cycle-specific. Changes are made to the employee record across all fiscal years.
This process must be run after all payrolls have been completed for the old fiscal year and prior to printing service records at the end of the fiscal year.
Run a grid report to have as a backup in case you accidentally perform this process twice.
Select Manage Employees from the Human Resources menu, and that window opens.
Select Increment Employee Experience from the More menu, and the Increment Employee Experience window opens.
Enter the Cutoff Date. Note: The cutoff date is checked against the Hire Date field. If the hire date is before the cutoff date, the employee's experience will be incremented by one.
Click OK
