The Payroll Register by Department for Fiscal Year Report provides an overview of the salary and deduction totals for a single register or all registers for a single department or for all departments. This report aggregates the payroll register to the liability controlling element level. The report is sorted by department and then by liability element.
The report can be reached by selecting Reports > Payroll > Payroll Register by Department for Fiscal Year Report and can be created as a PDF or Excel file.
Fields included on the report are: paycheck site, department, payroll liability & description, register & YTD totals.
Accounting Cycle — defaults to the current cycle
Payroll Cycle
Register status — select Approved or Submitted
Payroll Register — select one or all
YTD detail — Only applicable if a single register was selected. If No, only departments with activity on the selected register will be included. If Yes, specify the YTD option below.
YTD option — Only applicable if a single register was selected AND YTD detail is set to Yes. If both of those are true, choose either the register date or today's date (or year end date for past years). If today’s date is selected, all fiscal year-to-date information will be included.
