Add Items to an Asset

You can add asset items to New, Active, and Depreciated assets.

If you're already in the asset record, skip to step 3.

  1. Select Asset Management from the Purchasing & Payables / Capital Assets menu. The Asset Management window opens.

  2. Check the box for the asset to which you want to add items, and click Edit, or click the Asset No. link. The Edit Asset window opens.

  3. Click Add, and the Add Asset Items popup opens.

  4. Complete the fields as described. Only the description and quantity are required to save the record.

  5. Click Save, or Save and Add if you want to add more items to the asset.

  6. Continue to accept asset items as needed.
